Your subscription covers the modules in your plan, cloud hosting, the mobile entry app, SpectroConnect for automatic spectrometer readings, WhatsApp alerts up to your plan’s message allowance, and Ask AI, with AI usage billed on actual consumption. Online training, implementation, support and software updates are included too, so there is no separate setup fee for these.

Yes. You move up without starting again: your data, masters and settings stay as they are, and you pay only the difference. If you need just a few Pro or Enterprise features, you can add those modules to your current plan instead of upgrading the whole plan.

Yes. ICAST reads results directly from all major spectrometer brands, tensile, hardness and other lab machines, Bluetooth pyrometers and weighbridges, through APIs, XML, CSV or Excel files, or DLLs. Spectrometer and mechanical test results are saved against the right heat or batch with no typing, and material test certificates are built from the same readings.

Yes. Data flows both ways with Tally, through its API or DLL files. SAP and Oracle connect through an API connector, so finance stays in the system you already use while foundry teams work in ICAST’s simpler screens and mobile app. Any third-party software that offers an API, including a customer’s ERP, can exchange data with ICAST, so orders and GRNs can come straight in.

Yes. ICAST runs on a VAPT-tested platform hosted in an Indian data centre, and your data stays in India unless you agree otherwise. Every user has their own login, with role-based rights set separately for data entry, editing, approvals and reports. All access is over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, and only authorised Ellipsis staff bound by confidentiality can reach the production environment. The database is backed up daily, uploaded files and images are backed up incrementally, and the last seven days of backups are kept. Security patches are applied as they are released. Your data remains yours: we provide a full export on request, and if you leave we delete it and confirm in writing. ICAST is also available on-premise or on a private cloud.

Training and local support are included in every plan, from our in-house team trained in foundry processes, not an outsourced ticket queue. Your users reach people who understand your melt shop, lab and dispatch, and WhatsApp alerts keep your team on top of exceptions day to day.

Yes. Online training is included in every plan. If you would like our team at your plant for training and handholding during go-live, we come on-site, with travel and stay charged as an add-on.
